KLoé Hotel, located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, is a boutique hotel that celebrates creativity, calm, and conscious living. Designed by Domaine Architects, the project embodies a warm, raw, and honest aesthetic using natural textures and artisanal materials.
From its inviting courtyard to its curated guest experiences, the hotel demonstrates how architecture and design can create spaces that feel authentic, tactile, and human.

Use of PBM Ventilation Blocks
PBM blocks were a key material in expressing the hotel’s grounded, honest design language — used to create textured walls, breezy screens, and playful light patterns throughout the courtyard and façade zones.
🔹 Featured Application:
•VB 402.125 – A square block with 4 internal square openings.
•Custom Variants – Based on VB 402.125, PBM supplied 3 modified versions:
•3-hole block (1 opening closed)
•2-hole block (2 openings closed)
•1-hole block (3 openings closed)
These variations were arranged in dynamic compositions, producing a pixel-like, animated surface that filters sunlight and shadows across the hotel’s public zones — a tactile expression of openness and serenity.
