Project Overview
A slim block format quietly running every fire-escape stairwell.
TTDI Ascencia is a contemporary residential development located in the upscale neighborhood of Taman Tun Dr Ismail (TTDI). Developed by NAZA TTDI, the project emphasizes high-density vertical living with strong architectural presence and passive design strategies. The tower is adjacent to a mass transit hub, which adds to its appeal as a sustainable urban residence.
This project received Gold at the PAM Awards 2018 in the Multiple Residential High Rise category—recognizing its design innovation, material expression, and urban integration.

Use of PBM Ventilation Blocks
PBM’s VB 70.05 VentBlocks were installed in the fire escape stairwell zones, where passive airflow, heat dissipation, and privacy were key design requirements. The block’s slim, rectangular profile was arranged in uniform patterns to:
•Allow cross ventilation within enclosed stairwells
•Provide filtered daylight and improved air quality
•Visually harmonize with the building’s concrete material palette
While compact, the VB 70.05 units play an essential role in enhancing safety, ventilation, and material consistency across the tower.
