Project Overview

Five block profiles building a textured mixed-use skin.

RADIA Bukit Jelutong is an award-winning* mixed-use development combining residential suites, retail arcades, and corporate office spaces within a single master-planned precinct. Jointly developed by UEM Sunrise and Sime Darby Property, RADIA is designed to promote connectivity, energy efficiency, and a walkable urban experience.
The architectural concept blends modern Mediterranean influences with functional climate-responsive detailing, including the use of open-air corridors, light wells, and ventilated façades.
Use of PBM Ventilation Blocks
PBM supplied five different VentBlock models across various functional and aesthetic applications throughout the project’s residential and retail zones. These blocks were used to enhance passive airflow, maintain visual consistency, and integrate screening systems.
By combining different profiles and sizes, the design team created a textured, breathable skin that reinforces RADIA’s emphasis on energy-efficient, climate-sensitive architecture.
