EmHub is Malaysia’s first ramp-up strata factory – two 6-storey blocks of 468 commercial units served by a drive-up ramp accessible to trucks up to five tons. Developed bySCland Development Sdn Bhd on a 9.4-acre site in Kota Damansara, the project pairs working-floor flexibility with a rooftop social club above. PBM FB 360 facing brick in alternating open/closed patterns wraps the rooftop community zone, balancing privacy with cross-ventilation.
Use of PBM Facing Bricks
PBM’s Facing Brick FB 360 is prominently used throughout the rooftop facilities level. From event halls and meeting rooms to the outdoor garden, the terracotta-colored bricks provide a warm, tactile finish to the contemporary architecture. Alternating open and closed brick patterns allow natural airflow and texture variation, enriching the spatial character of shared spaces. The durability and aesthetic versatility of the bricks enhance both indoor and outdoor areas.
