Mahkamah Baharu Ampang (Ampang New Courthouse) is a government facility designed to serve the growing legal infrastructure needs of the region. The building blends functional architecture with modern design language, reflecting strength, formality, and order appropriate to its civic role.
Use of PBM Ventilation Blocks
PBM’s VB 140.34 ventilation blocks were selected and laid vertically across the façade of the building. These blocks offer a clean linear aesthetic while providing visual rhythm and filtered light penetration. The vertical application creates an elegant screen effect that enhances the structure’s architectural form while maintaining natural airflow and shading benefits.
The minimalist and repetitive use of VB 140.34 reinforces the institutional character of the courthouse. The installation forms a disciplined, modern façade treatment that contributes both functionally and symbolically to the identity of the judiciary facility.
